Workwise, I'm a technology specialist working in central government, and thus probably need to cover my behind by stating that anything I say in the public sphere, ever, is purely my personal opinion. I graduated in French at the University of Sheffield and have previous experience working in online marketing (specifically SEO), and abroad - I spent a year in Paris and allegedly speak fluent French as a consequence.

| I realise this is slightly off topic, but is Unite Against Fascism really that controversial? British (Conservative) Prime Minister David Cameron is a founding signatory, and as an organisation it enjoys support across a wide section of society. The English Defence League, however, is a far-right (many would say islamaphobic, racist) organisation, and definitely merits the tag controversial. | |
